Got a new pup and want to start off on the right foot? Fresh Coast K9 can help give your new addition a good foundational start for long-term training success! The first handful of weeks and months are very important in dog socialization and development. The experiences they encounter early on will affect how they interpret the world later in life. Our puppy programs help safely shape positive experiences in positive environments. Since puppies have shorter attention spans, these sessions are shorter than a regular obedience session for older dogs. From basic puppy play and environmental introductions to the introduction of obedience behaviors, Fresh Coast K9 will customize each session for your new puppy!

Puppy Program pricing:

$225 for 4 private sessions, 45 minutes each.

Private Lessons are a great way to learn from the trainer in a one-on-one environment. They are customized to meet your needs and the needs of your dog. Perfect for those with imperfect schedules, Private Lessons can meet your dog training goals when it's convenient for you. Private Lessons can be held at your home, our facility, the park or any other location around you. This can be beneficial for your dog when it comes to working through distractions or other environmental challenges. Whether it is a behavioral problem, obedience goals or general dog manners, Fresh Coast K9 will give you the tools to succeed.

Our Modern E-Collar Course is the starting point to unlocking the closest thing to freedom your dog can enjoy. With a foundation in science and theoretical based techniques, our E-Collar course is designed for simple, clear and effective communication between you and your dog. We provide you and your dog with an understanding of principles and concepts which make living and training with your dog easy!

We understand that there is a lot of misconception and misinformation about how these tools are used or work. In this course you will learn how to apply E-Collar principles to specific skills or training that you are already using with your dog. Keeping the lines of communication clear, and most importantly, fair to your dog. Owners and handlers learn how to properly use and condition the equipment appropriately, while ensuring the dog understands the concepts.

This course is designed for both the beginner and advanced user, or even for those curious about the technology and communication itself. From private lessons to small group classes, this course strives to teach, enhance and solidify training and quality of life for human and dog alike.

As part of this course, the appropriate equipment will be provided to you and your dog. We will work to find out what suits your needs and the needs for you dog, thus enhancing the relationship. E-Collars are not all created equal and you shouldn't have to spend extra time and energy trying to navigate those roads. We take the guesswork out for you and find what works the best.

Fully Trained Protection Dogs:

In a world of uncertainty, many are looking to protection dogs for their family or their property and assets. However, the process is not as easy as just finding a dog "that bites".  Fresh Coast K9 offers fully trained personal protection canine options for a variety of applications to include: property protection, vessel/vehicle protection and family protection. These are not just aggressive and mindless biting animals. Each dog is selected based on its social, clear-headedness and temperament characteristic traits, which allows them to be part of the family dynamic.

Personal Working Dogs & Protection Sports:

Do you currently have a personal protection working dog or a protection sport dog? Does your dog need refreshers in its apprehension work or grip development? If so, Fresh Coast K9 offers decoying services and foundational grip development for interested clients. We also offer selection testing for those who may have a dog and are considering protection work or sport. Fresh Coast K9 will provide a fair and honest assessment of your dog, based on your individual needs or circumstances.

Want to win a nose-work title? Looking to find antler sheds or lost deer? We specialize in creating detection programs and progression based systems and skills to help you meet your sporting goals.

These customized programs can be start to finish, or anywhere in-between. From learning how odor behaves, to reinforcing consistent winning behaviors, we will work with you to set up and maintain a wide variety of scent-related skillsets.
